The BOMA Tricky Tray Raffle is a long-standing tradition at our TOBY/Holiday Banquet.
This is where you can donate and/or bid on special and rare baskets that are valued at over $200 or more.
100% of the proceeds of the raffle sales go to a charity. This Charity is picked by our President, Travis DeNicola and is listed below.

This year, our TOBY/Holiday Banquet is on Tuesday, December 8th! Make sure you register for this event! We have limited seats.

Basket donations from BOMA Members must be worth $200 or more. If you still need to drop off a basket, reach out to Roberta.
If you have questions about donations, reach out to Roberta Scoblick @rscoblick@sunstatessecurity.com. You are responsible for dropping off your basket to Roberta. These are Due by November 30th.

Tricky Tray Drawings - This year our President Travis DeNicola's chosen Charity is Graylee Jo's Grace!
It's the season of giving, and we have an exciting opportunity for you to win fantastic baskets, each valued at over $200, by purchasing Tricky Tray tickets! These tickets allow you to enter your name into a drawing for the prize of your choice throughout the venue. Thanks to our generous BOMA Members, these prizes are donated by various organizations and include offerings such as a spa day at Umstead and an electric bike. With multiple chances to win for each ticket drawn, there are so many opportunities to take home a prize! Pre-sales will open with registration, so be sure to get your Tricky Tray tickets early to avoid long lines.

Graylee Jo's Grace: Fighting CHD One Heart at a Time. This charity choice honors Laura Brown and her family. Laura's journey with her daughter's HLHS has touched our community at BOMA Raleigh‑Durham -- she served on the Board from 20242026 and remains an active member of the Membership Committee.

Graylee Jo's Grace journey began on July 26, 2023, when their firstborn daughter, Graylee Jo Thornton, entered the world with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) -- a rare and serious single ventricle congenital heart defect. Shortly after birth, Graylee Jo underwent the Norwood procedure and spent 34 days in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU) at Duke University Medical Center before being discharged home. During the interstage period, Graylee Jo suffered sudden cardiac arrest for unknown reasons and passed away while at home. For 78 precious days, Graylee Jo taught everyone around her the truest definition of love, strength, and grace. She made the world a brighter, kinder place, and she was truly an angel on earth. Although her time on earth was short, her impact remains to this day. Graylee Jo taught us all how to be #GJstrong.
